ESTATE LIQUIDATION (RESIDENTIAL & COMMERCIAL)
HAWKEYE'S ESTATE SALES can handle both, liquidating a residence or liquidating a business. We got our start more than 30 years ago in commercial liquidations and later expanded our services to include residential liquidations and consignment sales.
Each project starts with Hawkeye's Estate Sales evaluating the project and assessing the client's needs. Initial consultation is always free, at no charge to the client.
FOR RESIDENTIAL LIQUIDATIONS
WE WILL:

- Sort through your belongings
- Appraise valuables
- Price items
- Display your possessions
- Stage the home to present all items to best advantage
- Market the sale by advertising
- Conduct the sale and sell your items
- Clean up after the sale, including disposal of unsold items
- Transport to our warehouse any items that you elect to sell through consignment
- Prepare detailed accounting of all items sold
- Deliver to you proceeds of the sale

- Turn over the premises to us for preparation
- Authorize us to conduct a sale on your premises

- Clean up after the sale, including disposal of unsold items

- Deliver to you proceeds of the sale

ADDITIONAL SERVICES
CONSIGNMENT SALES
Upon mutual agreement we will accept certain items to be sold on consignment at a price mutually agreeable to both parties. We will market the item both locally and through internet sales and sell it at the highest possible price obtainable. If the item does not sell after six months, we will notify you and discuss possible options. These would most often be to reduce the price and try again for another 6 month period or ask you to take the item back. We typically only consign items that we believe are marketable and likely to sell within 6 months of consignment. Please note that we reserve the right to refuse to consign any item that we deem unsellable, problematic, or unsuitable for sale for any reason.
DOWNSIZING
If you are moving to a smaller home, we can assist you with liquidating your larger household by holding an estate sale in your larger residence. Or, if you want minimal disruption of your daily life, we can simply accept whatever large or valuable items you would like to sell on consignment (see under consignment sales).
HOARDING
We will clean out houses and yards, sort through the items, sell or discard as needed.
AREAS SERVICED:
HAWKEYE'S ESTATE SALES services primarily all of Ventura County, but also Southern Santa Barbara County and Western Los Angeles County. Depending on the size of your estate, we will travel up to 200 miles from Ventura, California.
